Hawgs Racing sponsors the UEM-round at Gardermoen 2009

Norwegian Dragracing Gardermoen have for several years arranged UEM-round the first weekend of august.  The top european bike-teams from about ten countries are gathered this weekend at Gardermoen. 
Several european records have been set at this trac.
 
Last years "rain-off" made a terrible impact on the number of spectators, this of course left NDRG with an empty "pocket".

1. mars settes en helt ny finansieringsordning i drift.
Idrettslag som er registrert i Frivillighetsregisteret vil få del i disse pengene.
Den enkelte spiller hos Norsk Tipping kan da knytte en lokal frivillig organisasjon til sitt spillerkort.
5% av din insats går til det idrettslaget du velger, dette vil hjelpe oss med driften av laget gjennom året.

Report from the NDRG banquet in Lillestrom

At the NDRG banquet several awards was handed out, and Hawgs Racing recieved several prices.

Kristin Hegre won the Bike Rider of the Year! 
Kristin have been trough a tough year, and ended the season on here newly achieved Top Gas bike from the USA.




Henning Pedersen was saluted with the Mecanic of the Year award!
Henning have been a mecanic for Team Rolfstad for several years, he was together with Svein Olav on the USA-tour in 2007.
2009 news

There are several exiting news for the 2009-season.

Ruling champion in Super Twin Top Fuel, Team Rolfstad are building av completely new bike, after selling the old bike to Team Nitro Racing.

Olstad Racing are working on some new design on the body and fairings, after building a windtunell.

Team Ravnsborg are selling the old bike, and are tuning up the new bike for the coming season.
